Compressor

Pressure is a compressor with five styles: transparent CLEAN, fast PUNCH, bus GLUE, slow OPTO and SMASH with every button pressed. Pick the character, set threshold and ratio, and let AUTO GAIN keep the level honest.

The SQUEEZE display scrolls the input, output and gain reduction in real time next to the transfer curve and the IN / GR / OUT meters. Drag on it to move the threshold, scroll to change the ratio.

    Five styles

    CLEAN (VCA), PUNCH (FET), GLUE (bus VCA), OPTO and SMASH, each with its own detector, knee and colour.

    Squeeze display

    A scrolling history, the threshold line, a transfer curve with the live level dot and IN / GR / OUT meters.

    Auto gain and release

    AUTO GAIN matches the level around −18 dBFS; AUTO REL gives a two-stage, program-dependent release.

    Parallel and clip

    MIX for parallel compression, DELTA to hear only what's removed and a soft CLIP on the output above −1 dBFS.

    Detector

    Peak or RMS, a 60–250 Hz sidechain high-pass so the bass doesn't pump the mix, and SC LISTEN to hear it.

  • 6

    Stereo and lookahead

    Linked, unlinked or mid/side, lookahead of 0, 1, 3 or 5 ms reported to the DAW, A/B and 12 factory presets.
